Gender Minister Cynthia Morrison on Wednesday outlined measures that were taken by the Ministry to move Ghana from the tier 2 watch list to its current position of tier 2 on the human trafficking rankings
Tier 2 Countries are those whose governments do not fully comply with the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) 2000 minimum standards, but are making significant efforts to bring themselves into compliance with those standards.
The minister is expected to share also, insight on an operational manual it has developed on the operations of the school feeding programme to provide clearer understanding to proprietors when she takes her turn at the Meet-the-Press series organized by the Information Ministry.
She will provide also, an update on an adoption manual which has been developed by the central adoption authority to ensure adoption is done in the best interest of the child as well.
The livestream will start soon...
