President Nana Akufo-Addo addressed the nation for the 25th time on measures his administration has put in place to fight Covid-19.
The last time he addressed the country was on the 28th of February when he announced the arrival of the AstraZeneca vaccines from the COVAX facility into the country.
Since then, Ghana has gone ahead to vaccinate 852,047 people across the country as at May 7.
This televised address comes at a time when the country has recorded 1,314 active cases and 783 deaths.
These addresses have been a major part of Ghana’s fight against Covid-19 since the first two cases were recorded in March last year.
