The long-awaited 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards musical showpiece took off on Friday, June 25.
The two-day event, happening tonight and on Saturday, projects the glitz and glam of the red-carpet and eclectic live performances from the best acts Ghana has to offer.
Also, 13 numerous awards were up for grabs as musicians battle it out in the various categories.
Some winners on the night include Kofi Kinaata who made history with his 4th Songwriter of the Year award win, Keche won Group of the Year, new artiste Abiana won Female Vocalist of the Year and MOG Music for the second consecutive time won the Male Vocalist of the Year award.
The night featured performances from Yaayaa, Epixode, Okyeame Kwame, Sister Afia, Larusso, Fameye, Kofi Kinaata, DopeNation, Dead Peepol, Nanky, Cina Soul and others.
The second night will come off on Saturday, June 26. With the likes of Gyakie, Dead Peepol, Mr Drew, Larusso, Yaw Tog, Kofi Jamar, Kweku Flick, Amerado, Camidoh, Amerado in the New Artiste Category, the competition is extremely tough.
