The Western Region edition of the nationwide fumigation and disinfection exercise in various Senior High, Vocational and Technical Schools which was started in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly Friday, May 8, 2020.
The exercise is a collaboration between the Ghana Education Service and Zoomlion Company Limited.
The exercise saw the waste management company deploy ladies who rose to the occasion and executed the task at hand with diligence.
Some of the schools fumigated included Ghana National Senior Technical, St John’s Senior High, Bompeh Senior High, Fijai Senior High, Ahantaman Girls Senior High, Archbishop Porters Girls' Senior High, Adiemmra Senior High and Diabane Senior High.
The program was launched with the aim of ridding the country's second cycle institutions of bedbugs and other insects.
