President John Dramani Mahama paid a visit to the Black Stars on Wednesday evening during their training session at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The visit comes as the national team prepares for their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad on Friday, March 21.

The President’s presence at the training ground was met with excitement, as he interacted with the players and technical staff, offering words of encouragement ahead of the important fixture.
His visit is seen as a morale booster for the squad, who are keen to secure a vital win in their campaign for World Cup qualification.

Ghana will face Chad in what is expected to be a competitive encounter, with Ghanaians hoping for a strong performance from the Black Stars.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
