The Freedom Fight Night at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana produced three Ghanaian WBC International champions. The event was the main sporting event to mark Ghana's 60th Independence anniversary.
Duke "Babyface Terminator" Micah recorded his 20th win in style with a ninth round stoppage of Jonathan "El Fenix" Aguilar of Mexico to annex the WBC International gold bantamweight title.
Richard "Cristo" Commey is the new WBC international Silver lightweight champion after a unanimous win against Heidi Slimani of Belgium. Judges Eddie Pappoe and Sylvain Adote both scored the bout 116-112 while Lateef Muiss scored it 117-113.
Frederick 'el General Okunka' Lawson won the WBC International Silver welterweight title following a Majority Decision against Jamaica's Sakima Mullings. Judges Eddie Pappoe, Lateef Muiss, and Sylvain Adote scored the bout 116-113, 114-114 and 119-109 to hand Lawson the win.
