Ghana gave away a first-half lead to give Senegal a crucial win in the last minute of their Group C opener at the ongoing AFCON tournament.
The late winner scored by substitute Moussa Sow in the 90+3 minutes of the match played at the Estadio Mongomo, Monday, gave the Senegalese team the needed three points.
Ghana Captain Andre Ayew scored in the 14th minute of the first half through the spot kick, after Christian Atsu was fouled by the Senegal goalkeeper.
Senegal's second-half domination saw them pull parity in the 58th minute when Mame Biram Diouf launched on a rebound and headed it straight into an empty net.
Senegal could have won by a bigger margin but their strikers have been wasteful with the kick in front of the Ghanaian goal.
