Imani Centre for Policy and Education Ghana, a governance think thank in the country has partnered with Joynews to organize a political debate for 6 six independent presidential candidates at the University of Professional Studies in Accra.
The independent presidential aspirants who are seeking the mandate of Ghanaians to govern the nation spoke about their vision if they were voted into power.
The candidates are Marricke Kofi Gane, Kofi Koranteng, Samuel Ofori Ampofo, Carl Ebo Morgan, Dr Tom Asiseh and Onipayede Ossom Teye.
The event marked the beginning of a series of political debates to be organised under the Imani Ghana and JoyNews partnership.
The program was attended by political science students from various tertiary institutions, leaders of civil society organisations and politicians was moderated by JoyNews' Head of Political Desk, Evans Mensah and new anchor, Emefa Apawu.
