President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia have paid their last respect to a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Amoako Tuffour.
The founding member of the NPP was reported dead on January 21, 2021. He was laid to rest on Saturday, May 30.
High-profile personalities who throng the funeral grounds to sympathise with his family and pay their last respect include the Chief of Staff, Frema Osei Opare, National Chairman Freddie Blay, General Secretary John Boadu, among others.
Dr Amoako-Tuffour was a former National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme in the erstwhile John Kufuor administration.
Prior to his death, he was a presidential advisor.
