Photos: Aburi Girls’ SHS organises 2022 SRC week

Student Representative Council (SRC) weeks are in season and high schools across the country have celebrated the period in diverse ways.

SRC weeks are always exciting times for students. The week-long celebration could be described as one of the best experiences one could ever ask for during in high school.

The Aburi Girls’ Senior High School held this year's SRC week under the theme, ‘Gran Regreso' (Big come back or grand return in Spanish).

During their SRC week, Aburi Girls’ students organised fun-filled activities such as bonfire night, music and dance sessions and let loose from all the school related stress.

The atmosphere on the mountaintop was nothing short of warmth and radiance from the 20th to the 23rd of July, 2022.

We were more than elated to photograph some moments of the celebration. One of the most interesting activities they indulged in was the ‘rep my boys’ school’ segment. The students dressed up the uniforms of their favorite boys’ schools.

It was such a hearty moment to see the ladies costumed in the uniforms of Presec Legon, Mfantsipim School, Accra Academy, Adisadel college, Prempeh College and others. They looked absolutely beautiful and cheerful.

And oh, the climax of the Aburi Girls’ SRC week was one anyone would have loved not to miss. The students crowned it all up with a series of fun activities such as a pageantry session to display beautiful designs and formation dances.

The SRC executives also gave out some awards to the most photogenic student, most popular student and others. There was also a performance by Dope Nation and DJ Faculty.

We made sure you do not miss out on all the fun. Therefore, here are some photos from the Aburi Girls’ 2022 SRC week celebration.
