The Founder of Philadelphia Church of Yahweh, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah has made a touching revelation of how the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, surprised him during the death of his father recently.
The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bawumia, as part of his final campaign activities in the Ashanti region, visited the Philadelphia Church with his running mate and other leading members of the NPP on Sunday.
Welcoming Dr. Bawumia to the Church, Pastor Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah highlighted the character of Dr. Bawumia, especially his thoughtfulness and generosity.
The Pastor told the thousands of congregation, how Dr. Bawumia surprised him at the funeral of his father recently, with a container load of items to support the funeral.
"At the funeral, I saw a container arrive, and I asked then where is this from. They said it is from Vice President Bawumia to support the funeral," said Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah.
"The container was opened and everything was inside. I was so surprised that I asked that is it really from the Vice President, and they said yes."
The Founder of the Church said he did not expect such a gesture from Dr. Bawumia and he was touched by his benevolence at such a moment.
Together with thousands of his congregation, Pastor Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah led a lengthy prayer session for Dr. Bawumia, invoking God's favour for his success in the election on Saturday.
