With lots of Ghanaian players in action over the weekend, here is a wrap of players in their respective leagues.
After going two games without scoring, Mohammed Kudus was back on the scoresheet over the weekend for Ajax. The 22-year-old climbed off the bench to score the last goal of the game as Ajax won 7-1 against Excelsior.
22-year-old Ibrahim Saddiq continued his fine form for BK Hacken on Saturday in their 4-1 win over GIG Sundsvall. Sadiq has one goal and two assists in his last three games in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
Andre Ayew scored his third goal of the season for Al-Sadd as they succumbed to a 3-2 defeat in the Qatari Stars Cup game against Qatar SC.
Patric Pfeiffer scored in Darmstadt's 2-1 win over Karlsruher over the weekend. It was also his third goal of the season and the third with his head. The game also featured Stephan Ambrosius who ended up on the losing side.
In the German 2. Bundesliga, Kwesi Wriedt scored in Holstein Kiel’s 3-1 win against Heidenheim.
Emmanuel Toku was on target for Botev Plovdiv, who earned a 3-1 win over Pirin Blagoevgrad in the Bulgarian League.
Joel Fameye recorded his 6th goal of the season for Rubin Kazan as they beat Krasnodar-2.
Thomas Partey played all minutes available for Arsenal in their narrow win over Leeds United on Sunday as they extended their lead at the top of the Premier League.
Mohammed Salisu was in good form for Southampton as they managed a 1-1 draw against West Ham United.
Daniel Amartey, Jeffery Schlupp and Jordan Ayew were all in action for in the Premier League game involving Leicester City and Crystal Palace.
Salis Abdul Samed, Alexander Djiku and Alidu Seidu were also in action in the French Ligue 1.
