The Paramount Chief of Penyi Traditional Area, Torgbiga Dadzi V has congratulated John Mahama on his victory in the December 7, general elections.
He said the landslide victory for him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was a manifestation of the trust and confidence the electorates have in Mr Mahama who serves as Torgbi Dunenyo I, Development Chief of the Penyi Traditional Area.
"We are optimistic that under your renewed mandate, Ghana will continue to flourish on the pillars of peace, unity, and sustainable development," Torgbiga Dadzi V said in a congratulatory message copied to Myjoyonline.com.
He stressed that the Penyi Traditional Council would collaborate with John Mahama’s administration in developing the country by resolving "pressing national challenges" and promoting the welfare of
Ghanaians.
He also prayed for divine wisdom and strength to enable the yet-to-be-formed NDC administration to deliver good governance, expressing confidence in President Mahama's ability to lead Ghana into a brighter and more prosperous future.
“The Penyi Traditional Council celebrates this momentous achievement and looks forward to a tenure marked by progress and development for the benefit of all. Long live Ghana! Long live Torgbi Dunenyo I, H.E. John Dramani Mahama”, he concluded.
