Asante Kotoko were kicked out of the Caf Champions League after losing 4-2 on penalties to debutants ASC Linguere on Sunday at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
The two-time champions overturned a 2-0 loss from the first leg with goals from Kabiru Imoro and goalkeeper Isaac Amoako's spot kick.
The match was pushed into penalty shoot-out after a 2-2 aggregate scoreline.
Isaac Amoako and Ofosu Appiah missed their kicks to hand Linguere, who converted all four kicks, passage into the 1/16th stage.
