Reverend Dr. Gideon Kisseih, General Overseer of the Miracle Life Gospel Church, has called for the development of a comprehensive policy which would empower the youth to develop their talents.
He said that everything possible must be done to enhance their welfare of the youth, who are the future leaders of the nation.
Rev. Dr Kisseih made the call at the opening of this year's pastors leadership conference in Accra on Tuesday.
About 500 pastors across the country, were expected to attend the three-day event, which was under the theme “Improving Our Leadership''.
It was aimed at sharpening the leadership skills of participants and to equip them with techniques to enable them to face challenges.
Rev. Dr. Kisseih asked political parties to rally behind the government to ensure national development, saying that now that the elections were over, there was the need to do away with partisan politics that could negatively affect the country's development.
He called on drivers to observe road signs and traffic regulations to avoid road accidents that claimed lives.
Rev. Dr. Kisseih urged religious leaders to educate their members on government policies and programmes.
