The Minority Spokesperson on Finance, Dr. Benjamin Kumbuor says Parliament refused to approve two loan agreements for the Presidential Complex and the Ghana@50 celebrations because government had not yet accounted for the initial funds.
Government was seeking an extra 15 million dollars for the presidential complex and 11.8 million dollars for the Ghana at 50 celebrations, but Parliament 0n Friday refused approval of the two loan agreements on account of the Minority’s refusal to support it.
Dr. Kumbour told Joy News the Ghana@50 secretariat needed to account for the 20 million dollars they were given for the jubilee celebrations first.
