Newly-appointed Legon Cities head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin says he is looking forward to a new challenge at the club following his unveiling.
Fabin was officially unveiled as the gaffer of the side on Tuesday, August 8, replacing Maxwell Konadu as the new coach.
The former Ghana youth international was previously with Aduana Football Club, where he was close to clinching the Ghana Premier League title last season.
However, Fabin has a new challenge and says he looks forward to making the most of it.
“After the Aduana work, I wanted to stay off football for some time, especially the Premier League. But one day, Legon Cities called me and showed me their project that they want to do,” he said.
“I felt compelled to come and help, to come and take over and take the team to the level that they want us to be. I am very happy to be here.
“I like challenges like this.”
Legon Cities escaped relegation in the closing stages of the 2022/23 betPawa campaign and would look to get better in the upcoming season.
