Adelaide United signing Lloyd Owusu is eying a good playing relationship with Brazilian forward Cristiano.
The former Cheltenham Town striker, who spent last season on loan with Brighton, arrived in Adelaide Tuesday and is excited about a new opportunity in Australia and combining with Cristiano to make a potent strike force.
"It could be a nice combination. All through my career I have played well with a little nippy kind of guy,” Owusu said.
“I create for him and get him in. If we do play that kind of formation it could be good for the club.
"I think it will bring the best out of both of us.
"Cristiano, from what I have seen, is quality. His movement and touch is really good. I think I can get him in. He can get a few goals this season."
