Hearts of Oak full back Joseph Owusu Bempah has attributed his side’s good start to the season down to hard work.
The Phobians have picked up seven points out of a maximum nine without conceeding with Bempah playing an integral role.
For Bempah hard work and good physical conditioning is working wonders for the Phobians.
“All the players put in at hard work training. The technical team are also helpful,” Bempah told Adom FM Sports.
“Our fitness level has improved from last season. You can see our good conditioning in the second half of games.”
“The secret is hard work.”
On the Phobians possibly claiming the league title, Bempah was cautious and believed it will be helpful to take one game at a time but did not hide his interest in annexing the title.
“Every player wants to win the league and enter the history books.”
“It is no simple task, it is very huge. We are taking it match by match and step by step.”
“The competition in the team is intense. Everyone is on top of their game.”
Hearts take on Bechem United in their next league fixture at Accra.
