Ghana winger Qunicy Owusu Abeyie has launched a foul-mouthed attack on abusive Malaga supporters and announced his decision to quit the Spanish club.
Ghanasoccernet.com understands that the former Arsenal player was not paid his salary for six months which prompted his decision to walk out on the team.
The ex-Holland youth international was axed from the first team of Malaga last month after being accused of being indisciplined.
Spanish newspaper Marca reported last month that his disruptive behaviour angered coach Manuel Pellegrini which led to the decision to drop him to the junior side after he went missing from the club.
But there seems to be much going on behind the scenes which prompted the Ghanaian player to announce his decision to leave the club.
“I will never forget my Malaga fans & great team mates, I had a great time in Malaga. Vamossssssssss!!!,” Abeyie said on his twitter account.
“I can’t believe that people actually believe that I didn’t turn up to training for no reason.”
This prompted vile attacks on him by Malaga fans on his twitter account.
“F**k off!!! Focus in your own life. What do you know about being professional, look at yourself!,” a Malaga fan Varadans tweeted the insulting message to the Abeyie.
But the Ghanaian player has responded by taunting the abusive Malaga fans of the club and boasted about his successes.
“To all you negative Malaga fans, I have a great life & a beautiful home. So whatever you say, I don’t give a f**k!,” Abeyie responded.
The 25-year-old played for Ajax, Arsenal, Spartak Moscow, Celta Vigo, Birmingham, Cardiff, Portsmouth, Al Sadd and Malaga.
He is likely be seeking moves to England or Holland but he could also return to Qatar where he played for Al Sadd.
