The technical team of Ghana’s Under-23 team has sent home three over-aged players initially named in a 30-man squad.
Asante Kotoko’s Yaw Frimpong, Sampson Cudjoe of AshantiGold were members of the last squad that failed to qualify for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games
Real Tamale United’s Atia Sumailia is also another player whose age is above the age limit.
Head coach David Duncan and his backroom were forced to sieve the squad currently in camp for an All Africa Games qualifier against Benin in April.
