Ghana's goal merchant Ransford Osei is looking forward to scoring more goals for the Black Satellites at the World Youth Championships (WYC) in Egypt later this year.
Osei, 19, won the Golden Shoe of the just ended 16th African Youth Championship in Kigali after an incredible seven goals in five matches.
"It's good to lead the goal charts in Kigali. I am proud of what I've achieved for my team and my nation, but I must target more glory and pride for Ghana at the World Youth Championship," Osei said.
The Maccabi Haifa striker was the star of the show again as Ghana ended a ten-year drought at the African U-20 level with a 2-0 win over Cameroon in the final on Sunday.
The Israel-based star scored a goal in each half with simple tap-ins on the back of good work by Samuel Inkoom on both occasions to give Ghana her third title at this level.
Osei also bagged two Samsung fair play player awards for his brilliant performances in the two-week long tournament.
The victory, achieved before a packed Amahoro Stadium gave Ghana a third title at this level since the competition took on the tournament format in the early 90s.
Coach Sellas Tetteh claimed that his side's success as Africa Youth Championships is a great triumph for Ghana football.
