Oracle executives meets Akufo-Addo

A group of senior executives from one of the country’s IT giants Oracle have met with President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House. 

The meeting was aimed at securing an intent between Oracle and the presidential office, for increased cooperation and partnership; formalizing future cooperation in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with government. 

By so doing, Oracle will contribute to presidential priorities of the sustainable, aid-independent growth of the economy, modernization of the public sector and the security and well being of the citizens through our state-of-the-art technologies and digital solutions.

Oracle, a global provider of enterprise cloud computing to over 430 000 customers in 175 countries. Oracle has been present in Africa for nearly three decades, continuously expanding its presence across the continent. 

It now operates 13 dedicated offices across Africa; these include two each in Nigeria, Egypt and South Africa and single offices in Algeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Morocco and Mauritius.

In attendance were Karl Cox - Vice President; Global Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs,  Andrew Sordam Vice President, Sub-Saharan Africa, ECEMEA Tech, Peter Erdosi - Director of Public Financial Management and Social Welfare - ECEMEA, CEE Apps, Annick Sakho - Sales Director, West & Central Africa Tech Cluster and Franklin Asare - Oracle Ghana Country Leader.
