The management of Bible Society of Ghana has decided to distribute one million Bibles to Junior Secondary School (JSS) students in the country for the next three years.
The Jubilee Bible Project that formed part of activities marking Ghana's 50th Independence Anniversary Celebrations is to make God's word available to the students who cannot purchase Bibles due to poverty.

It afforded journalists an opportunity to interact with officials of BSG and informed of the official launching of the project scheduled for Wednesday May 16.
The society has received about one billion cedis from the public towards the project.
Rev. Owusu said the project would provide an opportunity for the students to experience the life-transforming power of God's word and assist to reduce the rate of indiscipline in basic and second cycle schools.
He said the project would in addition, ensure a new crop of future leaders whose lives had been impacted by God and live above reproach in service to mankind.
Rev. Owusu said the 'Jubilee Bibles' had supplementary materials on the nation that would be beneficial to the students.
