One person has been lynched, and another is in critical condition after allegedly stealing a motorbike at Agona Kwanyarko in the Agona West District of the Central Region.
Police sources say the suspects were pursued by some ‘Okada’ riders from Kwanyarko and were apprehended at Awutu Kwame Whettey, where one was lynched.
Eyewitnesses told Adom News in an interview that the suspects had hired a motor rider from Kwanyarko to Obrachire.
Upon reaching a section of the road, the suspects attacked the rider with weapons and seized the motorbike.
Currently, the Awutu Bereku District Police Command has deposited the body at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital, where the other suspect is also receiving treatment.
