One person has been arrested in connection with the chaos that broke out between New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters in Mamobi.
The suspect is currently in custody, assisting with the investigation.
In a statement, the Police said it was working to arrest all the perpetrators and bring them to face justice.
Nine people were injured in the incident which occurred on Sunday during a routine political campaign walk.
Seven of the injured victims have been treated and discharged while two are still receiving treatment at the hospital.
