Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has completed a three year deal with Greek giants Panathinaikos after passing a medical.
The midfielder is expected to add tenacity and grit to the midfield of the Greek giants.
The deal sees Wakaso, who was on loan at Spanish club Las Palmas, bring an end to his torrid time at Rubin Kazan.
During his spell at the Russian giants, he also joined Scottish side Celtic for want of playing time.
On his return to the La Liga after, Wakaso played a total of 22 league games scored a goal .
The midfielder has seen a resurgence in his play after being deployed in a central midfield berth for the Black Stars.
He has played clubs such as Espanyol, Elche, Villarreal and Celtic, as is expected to assit Panathinaikos reclaim their glory days.
