The fight against plastic waste has been tackled head on, but the current state of the Odaw river points to the fact that there is more to be done.
A visit by JoyNews Photojournalist, David Andoh revealed that the river is filed with plastic waste.
The situation can cause flooding if there is a severe downpour .
