Popular British afroswing collective, NSG, is set to outdoor their debut album, ‘Area Boyz’, on October 20, after 10 years in the music scene.
The “Nigeria Slash Ghana” group consists of Kruddz, Papii Abz, Dope, Mxjib, Mojo and ODG.
Before the release of this album, the group had put out two mixtapes; ‘Grown Up’ and ‘Roots.’
Their singles include RIDE, Options, Petite, In Da Car, OT Bop, Lupita, and Kate Winslet, among many others.
Their latest single, NELLA ROSE, which is off the Area Boyz album was released on September 21.
Other singles like Lonely and Mansa Musa are expected to be on the album.
Some of the guest appearances on the project include Sarkodie, Seyi Vibez, Libianca, JAE5, Tion Wayne, and OdumoduBlvck, among many others.
According to Kruddz, one of the members of the group, the journey of the Area Boyz album has been “phenomenal and amazing.”
Mojo, another group member, also said the 10-year celebration of NSG and the album symbolizes “brotherhood, growth, struggle, greatness and non-stop progress.”
The highly-anticipated album will be available on all streaming platforms on Friday, 20th October 2023.
