The Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Western North Regional Chairman, William Benjamin Assuah, has delivered a strong message affirming the NPP’s ability to retain the Sefwi Wiawso Parliamentary seat based on the remarkable developmental projects initiated by the party in the Sefwi Wiawso constituency.
Mr Assuah expressed his confidence in the NPP to secure a resounding victory in the upcoming elections, citing the substantial impact of the party's developmental projects on the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has a track record of establishing the first-ever Sefwi Wiawso Nursing Training College in the Sefwiland, connecting a lot of rural communities to the national grid, construction of 42.8kms road from Dwinase Tano bridge to Benchema Barrier and the numerous infrastructure projects, under the then President Agyekum Kufour’s administration, was detailed as evidence of the party's commitment and transformative impact on the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency
During a campaign trail with the party’s parliamentary candidate, Hon. Festus Bumamka Agyapong, Mr. Assuah asserts that approximately 80% of the monumental and capital-intensive projects in the Sefwi Wiawso constituency under this 4th republic have been the handiworks of the NPP, which showcases the party’s commitment to development in the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency.
He praised Festus Bumakama Agyapong’s dedication to bringing the necessary developments to the constituency, emphasizing the Mr Buma’s focus on the well-being of the good people of the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency.
Festus Bumakama Agyapong, despite not yet holding the parliamentary seat, has actively advocated for the various projects; including market construction, Astro turfs, reshaping of road, financial support for brilliant students, construction of KG block, donation of school desks, lightening up communities, renewal of NHIA cards, lobbying for mobile network for rural areas, assisting market women with soft loans, hence should be voted for him to continue the good legacies of the current Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Dr. Kwaku Afriyie.
Mr. Assuah joins the parliamentary candidate in campaigning across different communities in the constituency such as Achiachen, Akurafu, Kanchiabo, Kunuma and Suiano, to engage directly with the constituents and rally support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He brought attention to the significant transformation in Sefwi Wiawso, underscoring its status as a Regional Capital with numerous ongoing projects. The recent facelift of the Sefwi Wiawso town roads demonstrates a tangible improvement in the area's infrastructure, enhancing connectivity and accessibility for residents and visitors alike.
He urged the constituents to vote overwhelmingly for Hon. Festus Bumakama Agyapong and Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia for their commitment to bringing numerous projects to the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency.
As a gesture of support for the community initiative, Mr. Assuah donated fifty (50) bags of cement to the Sefwi Kunuma community to assist in the construction of a nurses’ bungalow.
