Thousands of prominent figures within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in a remarkable show of solidarity and support descended upon Sefwi Boako in the Sefwi Wiawso constituency of the Western North region to endorse Festus Agyapong Bumakama, the NPP parliamentary candidate.
The event, a spirited health walk, saw a sea of party luminaries marching alongside Bumakama, demonstrating their unwavering backing ahead of the upcoming elections.
The vibrant display of unity underscores the fervent enthusiasm within the NPP ranks as they rally behind their chosen representative, affirming their commitment to the party's vision and agenda for the region.
The walk involved the Regional Chairman, Benjamin Armahand his executives, MP for Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, Alex Djornuboah Tetteh, Dr. Alex Ampabeng the parliamentary candidate for Sefwi Juaboso and many more.
Speaking to the crowd after a successful health walk, the presumptive Member of Parliament for Sefwi Wiawso, Festus Agyapong Bumakama indicated his commitment to ensuring the development of the Sefwi Wiawso constituency.
According to him, he is not coming into politics to make wealth for himself and his family as naysayers have been propagating but to make the Sefwi Wiawso a development hub in the region.
He further added to provide more sustainable jobs for the people in the constituency, particularly the youth.
Bumakama among other promises said he would establish a small-scale mining firm at Sefwi Boako.
Ending his address, he appealed to all the party sympathizers to rally their support for him to maintain the parliamentary seat for the NPP and subsequently win the presidential election for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
However, Alex Djornuboah Tetteh, the MP for Sefwi Akontombra Constituency urged the party members to avoid insults on social media.
He appealed to them to do decent politics to propagate the good works of NPP.
