The Parliamentary aspirant for Dome Kwabenya, Mike Oquaye Jnr has urged other aspirants of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries who lost not to hold grudges but support the elected candidate.
In a Facebook post on Saturday after he lost to the incumbent MP in his constituency, the Ambassador to India said it is important for the party to have a united front as it heads for the 2020 general polls.
“I have fought the good fight. I did not win the race. I lost by 8 votes. However NPP needs to heal,” he wrote on his timeline.
Mr Oquaye Jnr further congratulated his opponent, Adwoa Safo.
