Day one matches of the Glo Premier League 2011/2012 season kicked off Sunday with five clubs picking wins. Three of the wins came the way of away sides.
New Edubiase posted a 3:2 win over league debutants Bechem United in a baptism of fire at the Baba Yara Stadium, with Emmanuel Baffoe posting the season’s opening hatrick.
Hearts of Oak laughed first in the season winning 1:0 in the league’s opening game on Saturday against Berekum Arsenals courtesy a Mahatma Otoo first half strike.
Medeama FC take on Wa All Stars at the Sekondi Essipong Stadium in a late kick-off Sunday evening at 6:15pm. Below are the scores from the centres.
