The National Lottery Authority (NLA) in collaboration with Luckweb Ghana, has introduced a raffle dubbed Daywa Weekly Raffle.
The raffle begins July 24 and will offer players the opportunity to win up ¢25,000 per week.
Marketing Manager of LuckWeb Ghana, Marita Ofori, says this raffle is among many exciting and innovative packages to be rolled out as promised to Ghanaians during the launch of Daywa 5/39.
“We are very proud to be at the forefront of NLA’s incessant initiatives to make Ghana the African reference for anything lottery”, she said.
In a quest to enrich Ghanaians, and in fulfillment of a commitment to promote national development, the Ghana National Lottery Authority has launched the Daywa weekly raffle as one of the many innovative approaches to create excitement for the citizenry.
Players who partake in this raffle will have a double chance of winning both the daily growing Jackpot of ¢100,000 and also the weekly raffle prize of ¢25,000, as their second chance.
Each 2Ghs that a player stakes on Daywa 5/39 during an entire week automatically qualifies him for one Raffle entry; that is, if a player has staked a total of 20 Ghs, he will have 10 raffle entries.
In order to participate, players are required to:
First, purchase a minimum of ¢2 Daywa 5/39 tickets on USSD short code *446# or via daywa-nla.com or play via the Daywa App which can only be downloaded on the Daywa website.
Secondly, the player must select 5 numbers from 1-39 or choose the random or combo option.
Players must also note that every ¢2 ticket purchased gives an entry into the Daily Growing Jackpot Draw of ¢100,000 and the Weekly Raffle of ¢25,000. Therefore must play often to increase their chances of winning daily prizes or the Weekly raffle.
Also, participation in the Weekly Raffle is automatic for each and every ticket played during the entire week, however, the Raffle option currently is only available for USSD, online, and mobile app tickets, but will be extended in future to paper tickets sold by LMCs.
A player gets to win ¢25,000 every week and the draw for the weekly raffle is held via a certified Randomized Number Generator (RNG) every Friday and supervised by the NLA Draw Committee.
Luckweb Ghana is part of the Tenlot Group, an international lottery operator well known for its social contribution.
