The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Ghana’s Black Stars on October 11 in the rescheduled friendly in London minus trusted goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
Enyeama has been involved in disciplinary matters after he criticized a recent travel plan of the Super Eagles and caused flight delays ahead of Nigeria’s 2:0 win against Madagascar in an African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Lille goalkeeper has since also been left out of the team’s 3:1 loss to Argentina in an international friendly and is set to miss the team’s 2012 Nations Cup final qualifier against Guinea on October 9 at the Abuja National Stadium.
Nigeria’s squad for the matches against Guinea and Ghana is made up of Austin Ejide, Dele Aiyenugba, Chigozie Agbim, Joseph Yobo, Taye Taiwo, Chibuzor Okonkwo, Elderson Echiejile, Efe Ambrose, Dele Adeleye, John Mikel Obi, Ugo Ukah and Nnamdi Oduamadi.
The rest are Joel Obi, Fengor Ogude, Kalu Uche, Obinna Nsofor, Ahmed Musa, Osaze Odemwingie, Ike Uche, Emmanuel Emenike, Peter Utaka, Chinedu Obasi, Brown Ideye, Gege Soriola, Emmanuel Ekpo and Nosa Igiebor.
Ghana is yet to name a squad. The last time the two sides played in friendly, also in London in 2007, the Black Stars beat the Super Eagles by 4:1.
