Out of hundreds of nominees, the HR Focus Awards Technical Committee conferred the award of “Overall Best Organisation in HR Practice” to Newmont Ghana.
Their HR Team was also rewarded for excellence in key functions such as: Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, and Diversity and Inclusion.
They also won Best HR Management in Mining, and the most coveted “HR Practitioner of the year” award.
The HR Focus Awards is a biennial awards scheme by HR Focus to celebrate excellence in HR Practice.
The event was held on Thursday 28th September 2023 and saw over 30 large and mid-sized organisations across industries gathered under the theme: “The HR Mandate; Building Resilience in People and Businesses”.
Ahead of the HR Focus Awards event, The HR Focus Awards Technical Committee; a group of experienced HR Professionals and Consultants; assessed and deliberated on the justifications and evidence submitted and conferred the awards to those who showed stellar performance in best HR Practise.
