A new movie titled 'Mind Chess' has premiered, aiming to educate the public on how to address mental health challenges.
Ghanaian actor Louis Lamis, who also starred in the film, revealed that his role has heightened his awareness and commitment to mental health advocacy.
"Mind Chess" is a short film that portrays mental health in an unprecedented manner. The movie delves into complex family dynamics and the challenging journey towards healing. Through its narrative, viewers are offered a glimpse into the internal struggles faced by those dealing with mental health issues and their desperate cries for help.
During the premiere, Louis Lamis shared his personal insights, expressing how his role in "Mind Chess" has inspired him to become more involved in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. Mawuena Azumah, the lead actor who played the role of a daughter grappling with mental health issues, emphasized the importance of vigilance and support for those who often suffer in silence.
