The National Tripartite Committee is expected to announce a new national daily minimum wage shortly.
This follows months of negotiations between the Tripartite Committee comprising the TUC, the Employers Association and government represented by the ministries of Manpower and Finance.
Members of the committee will not disclose details of agreement but JOY News has learnt it will be fixed around two dollars a day.
