New appointments and changes in CEPS

The Revenue Agencies Governing Board at the weekend announced new appointments and changes in the management of the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS). A statement issued in Accra by Mr. E.R.K. Lanyon, Commissioner of CEPS said the new appointments took effect from September 18. The new appointments are: Mr. Frank Jones Abban, Deputy Commissioner; Finance and Corporate Planning, Ms. Veronica Saddah, Deputy Commissioner; Operations, Mr. Ernest Ackwerh, Deputy Commissioner; Preventive, Mr. Imoru Farouk Adams, Deputy Commissioner; Human Resources and Administration, Mr. Isaac Apronti, Deputy Commissioner; Research and Monitoring, Information Technology and Administration and Budget, and Mr. Wisdom Tsikata, Deputy Commissioner Chief, Internal Audit. The rest are: Mr. Dwomoh Jermih, Assistant Commissioner; Administration and Human Resources, Mr. Wallace Akondor, Assistant Commissioner; Tema, Mr. E. Impraim, Assistant Commissioner; Customs, Mr. Muhammed Nasirudeen, Assistant Commissioner; ISO/Export, Mr. Y.A. Ibrahim, Assistant Commissioner; Investigations and Narcotics, Mr. Isaac Crenstil, Assistant Commissioner; Corporate Planning, and Mr. Evans Klutsey, Assistant Commissioner, Aflao. Others are Mr. Seth Dovlo, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Estates and Development, Mr. J.T. Sowah Acting Assistant Commissioner, Warehousing, Mr. Philip Mensah, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Internal Affairs/Intelligence, Mr. Charles Amankwah, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Audit, Mr. John Vianney Kuudamnuru, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Post Event/ Valuation, Mr. Charles Sabblah, Acting Assistant Commissioner;, Preventive and Fred Gavor, Acting Assistant Commissioner, Vehicles. Other changes are: Mr. Owusu Osman, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Suspense Regimes, Tema, Mr. Richard Yawutse, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Research, Planning and Monitoring, Mr. D. Ewoade, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Finance, Mr. J.E. Sackey, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Procurement, Mr. Edward Boakye, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Special Duties, Mr. Emmanuel Kermah, Assistant Commissioner; Project Manager, Custom Codes, Mr. Akumfi A. Buanya Assistant Commissioner; Stores, Mr. Nicholas A.K. Kitiki, Assistant Commissioner; Bolgatanga, Mrs Doris Dadjor Acting Assistant Commissioner; Jamestown, Ms Christiana Akoto-Bamfo, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Kotoka International Airport, Mr. Samuel Morkeh, Acting Assistant Commissioner; Wa, Mr. George Adum Kwapong, Acting Assistant Commissioner, Elubo and Mr. Isaac Kofi Toffah, Commandant of CEPS Academy, Kpetoe. According to the statement, the four deputy commissioners: Mr. Henry Acquah, in charge of Finance and Corporate Planning, Mr. Robert Kwami, Operations, Mr. Paul Adubofour, Human Resources and Administration and Mr. Africanus Owusu Ansah, Preventive, are currently on leave pending further directives from the Revenue Agency Governing Board.
