FIFA Marketing instructor Neil Armstrong Mortagbe has commended officials of the National Sports Council on their recently launched re-branding project.
The Sports Council said it recognised the changing trends in sports administration and believes that demands that the Council re-strategises in order to remain relevant to the development of sports in the Country.
The Sports Council intends to recruit over 600 professionals and experts over the next three years to effectively run the affairs of the council.
Neil Armstrong has urged the Sports Council to walk the talk to make the Council more commercially viable.
He said the Council must take cognisance of the fact that one critical thing that has adversely affected the commercial viability of the Council is its image and should work to create a positive image for the Sports Council.
Mr Armstrong said everything must be done to ensure the rebranding does not become a cosmetic exercise.
