The National Democratic Party (NDP) has appointed Mr Hanford Francis Amoako as its Interim General Secretary following the resignation of Dr. Joseph Mamboah-Rockson.
Honourable Hayford Francis Amoako is a former Member of Parliament for Nkoranza Constituency, Brong Ahafo.
The NDP wishes to state categorically that there was no NEC decision for the NDP to contest only parliamentary seats and not field a presidential candidate as stated by Dr. Mamboah-Rockson.
The party wishes to remind all its supporters, sympathisers and members of the general public that its National Delegates Congress will take place at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 13 as scheduled.
