The Executive Committee of the Cape Coast Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has dismissed Joseph Kobina Ward, a former branch Executive Member from the party.
A statement signed by Elvis Christian Amoasah, Constituency Chairman of the NDC, said the dismissal was as a result of the flirtatious attitude of Mr. Ward with the New Patriotic party (NPP) in the Constituency.
It explained that, Mr. Ward admitted holding meetings with the NPP when he was confronted by the Executives, the Parliamentary Candidate and some members of the Forum of Elders.
It alleged that My Ward had been releasing the party's strategies to the NPP as well as vowing to ensure that the NDC parliamentary candidate loses the December Parliamentary elections.
The statement urges the constituency executives, zonal executives, branch executives and members of the NDC not to discuss any party matters with him.
