Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the NDC says the party has re-strategized and is confident of winning the Dormaa Central and Dormaa East constituencies’ parliamentary seats in the Bono Region in the December 7 polls.
He said the party would also do everything possible to maintain the Dormaa West constituency seat.
However, he added the task was herculean and required a formidable front to secure the seats, and therefore, called on the constituency executives and the party following to work hard in the electioneering and propagate the party’s manifesto to convince the electorate to vote for the party.
Mr Nketiah said this when he addressed political rallies held at Yawkrom, Atesikrom, Nsesreso, and Asunsu Number One, as part of his campaign visit to the Bono Region.
Describing Mr Kwaku Agyemang-Manu, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa Central as an “aged politician,” Mr Nketiah advised the electorate there to vote for the young, dynamic, and development-oriented NDC Parliamentary Candidate (PC), Mr John Adu Jack.
He said NDC PC had the exuberance to serve the constituents well and called on the party supporters to follow Mr Jack’s campaign drive to secure his victory in the elections.
Mr Adu Jack said he was also confident to secure the parliamentary seat for the party and serve the people with diligence and called on the electorate to endorse him when they go to polls on December 7.
“Securing the Dormaa Central parliamentary seat is a major achievement for the party, and I will do that with the support of the party supporters,” he stated.
