Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, has cast his vote in the Manhyia South constituency as Ghanaians vote to elect a president and parliamentarians in the December 7 elections.
NAPO, who is the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, expressed optimism about his party’s prospects.
Manhyia South, where NAPO voted, is the constituency he has represented as Member of Parliament for four consecutive terms.

His tenure in Parliament has been marked by notable contributions to his constituents, making him a respected figure in the area before his selection as the NPP’s vice-presidential candidate.
Speaking to the media after casting his ballot, NAPO conveyed confidence in the leadership of Dr Bawumia and the message of progress the NPP has delivered throughout the campaign.
He stated, “I believe Ghanaians recognise the transformative work of the NPP, and I am confident that Dr Bawumia will emerge victorious in this election.”

NAPO further encouraged voters to participate peacefully and diligently in the electoral process, emphasising the importance of safeguarding Ghana’s democratic values.
He reiterated his hope that the election results would reflect the aspirations of the Ghanaian people for continued development and prosperity under the leadership of the NPP.
