Sensational FA Cup holders Nania FC Sunday beat premier league champions Berekum Chelsea 4:3 on penalties to lift the multi-purpose Super Cup at stake to honour the late football administrator and Liberty Professionals owner, Alhaji Sly Tetteh.
The two sides ended full time at the Accra Sports Stadium one all after Nania had taken the lead ahead of a Chelsea equalizer.
The win by soccer maestro, Abedi Pele’s division one side brings to two, silverwares wrenched from the virtual grips of premier league sides in the season following an earlier victory in the FA Cup against Asante Kotoko. Nania were equally responsible for edging Chelsea out of the FA Cup at the semi-finals.
With the match cleared, all is set for the big kick-off next weekend of the Premier League season.
