The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo is likely to name his running mate by next week.
That would put to rest all the speculations about who will be the vice presidential candidate of the NPP.
Nana Addo who is currently in the United Kingdom is expected in the country on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 and will also be expected to unveil his campaign team for the December elections.
A leading member of the yet to be named campaign team, Dr. Arthur Kennedy told Joy News that an aggressive campaign message was being drawn for the NPP flag bearer.
He said the message was channeled towards enabling Nana Addo win the December elections.
Dr. Kennedy stressed that the campaign team would not be relying solely on President Kufuor’s achievements.
He noted the team would be emphasising the track record of Nana Addo.
According to him, the NPP presidential candidate who is also the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South had performed creditably as Foreign Minister.
