The Multimedia Group made yet another great showing at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMG) annual awards this year.
The Group’s leading online news portal, myjoyonline.com, won the ‘Online News Portal of the Year’ for the second year running.
Myjoyonline.com has earned a reputation as one of the leading online news portals in Ghana, providing timely and reliable news coverage on a wide range of topics, including politics, business, entertainment, and social issues.
Its dedication to high-quality journalism, commitment to accuracy, and ability to adapt to the rapidly changing digital landscape have solidified its position as a trusted source of news for millions of Ghanaians.
In an interview after picking the award, Abubakar Ibrahim, an Editor with the portal thanked their dedicated team of journalists and contributors, who worked tirelessly to cover stories that mattered to the Ghanaians.
He also expressed the team's appreciation to their readers and viewers for their unwavering support and trust in their news portal.
Mr Abubakar said, "The second consecutive win was a testament to Myjoyonline.com's commitment to journalistic excellence, innovation in online news delivery, and our continuous efforts to keep the public informed and engaged.

One of the influential media company’s flagships, the Super Morning Show also won the ‘Radio Programme of the Year’ Award.
Last year, aside from winning the best news portal in the country, the influential media company swept four other top awards including the recognition for the Joy Clean Ghana Campaign, ‘Media Organisation of the Year’, Drivetime on Joy FM was the ‘Radio Programme of the Year’ and special recognition for one of its reporter Erastus Asare Donkor.
Myjoyonline.com since its inception in 2007 has become the reference point for general, political, sports, entertainment and business news due to its accuracy, factual and professional online news reporting.
At its 34th edition, CIMG acknowledged that the portal goes ahead of its competitors to amplify the content of its traditional radio [Joy FM] and television station [JoyNews] to serve its local and global audience.
It lauded the lengths Myjoyonline.com goes to increase reach for traditional media content through its online radio listenership as well as communicating online content through its radio and TV programming.
The Institute applauded the news portal for taking live happenings on traditional media to another level through innovative reportage.
The Institute further acknowledged the news portal as it "remains a household name attracting a wider listenership and sponsors who want to associate with your brand."
The celebrations continued long into the night, with the team feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment.
