MyHelp YourHelp Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization has partnered with Axis Pension Trust Limited to donate food items worth ¢15,000 to the poor and vulnerable.
Tuesday's activity was in a suburb of Accra specifically Meampeasem, Shiashie, Okponglo and American House communities who are also observing the President's lockdown directive.

Some of the items donated include bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, canned foods, sanitizers, rolls of tissue papers among others.
Ernest Attimah, General Manager of Axis Pension Trust Limited took the opportunity to urge individuals and corporate bodies to find ways of helping the vulnerable in these difficult times whiles keeping safe.

He encouraged all to stay at home as much as possible and not take anything for granted.
Mr Attimah further urged them to be persistent in prayer and heed the directives of the President.

Mr Cofie said with Covid-19 wrecking havoc the world over the Foundation thought it wise to support and educate the communities on the importance of keeping safe and strictly adhering to precautionary measures.
He thanked Axis Pensions Trust Limited and acknowledged the team for their immense support over the years.
MyHelp -YourHelp Foundation is made up of working-class individuals including doctors, nurses, bankers, lawyers, teachers and engineers.

They come together to contribute their widows’ mite to help the poor and vulnerable in society to afford the essentials of life.
The NGO focuses on inspiring and empowering orphans, street children and the vulnerable with the aim of improving their socio-economic status.

Having worked on several projects over the years, the management of Axis Pension Trust Limited found it prudent to support the MyHelp -YourHelp Foundation to meet the needs of the vulnerable once again.
This forms part of its corporate social responsibility in a time when Accra and other parts of the nation are under lockdown as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
