Super Saturday on Multi-TV featured an exciting hatrick of top draw European League matches back to back to back. QPR took on Blackburn in the EPL, followed by the French Ligue 1 Cliff hanger between Dede Ayew's Marseille and an overachieving Toulouse side. Wrapping up matters was the late Serie A kick-off between AC Milan and Palermo. Details of the outcomes of these matches and other games across England, France and Italy are provided below. ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE ROUND UP: Saturday’s 2pm kick-off in the EPL on Joy Sports and Adom TV on Multi-TV featured two teams on the wrong end of results in previous EPL action. Both QPR and Blackburn needed a positive result pretty badly, a fact both sides were evidently aware of, giving the heated nature of the early exchanges. At the bottom of the table, Blackburn boss Steve Kean continues to find himself under pressure after Rovers could only draw 1-1 with new boys Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. The draw leaves Blackburn with just five points from eight games at the foot of the table. In fairness to Rovers, there was some fortune attached to the opening goal for QPR, after Heidar Helguson's mishit cross found its way over Paul Robinson. Fortunately they only trailed for eight minutes before Christopher Samba towered over the Rangers defence to level with a trademark header. In other games, Manchester United relinquished their early lead in the league after drawing 1-1 with Liverpool in the early kick-off at Anfield. Stephen Gerrard opened the scoring when he fed a free-kick through a poorly assembled Manchester United wall. Hernandez grabbed a late equalizer for Ferguson’s side to preserve United’s unbeaten record. Manchester City were able to take advantage of United's slip in their home clash with Aston Villa, defeating Alex McLeish's side 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Roberto Mancini's men continue to cope well with the ongoing Carlos Tevez saga, and they now hold a two-point lead at the top thanks to goals from Mario Balotelli, Adam Johnson, Vincent Kompany and James Milner. Chelsea emphatically ended their Everton hoodoo to move back to within three points of Manchester City with a 3-1 victory at Stamford Bridge. The Blues had not beaten Everton since the 2009 FA Cup final and were looking for their first home win against them in six seasons, but goals from Daniel Sturridge, John Terry and Ramires sealed victory. Bolton are another side in trouble at the bottom, but boss Owen Coyle's cause was helped by a 3-1 win against Wigan at the DW Stadium. Victory lifts the Trotters above Wigan and out of the bottom three. Robin van Persie underlined his commitment to Arsenal with two goals as the Gunners laboured to a 2-1 victory at home to Sunderland. Van Persie scored a late winner after former Arsenal player Sebastian Larsson's free-kick cancelled out the Dutchman's early goal. Newcastle remain inside the Premier League's top four after they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Tottenham at St James' Park. The result keeps the Magpies three points ahead of Spurs, who move level with Liverpool and have a game in hand. EPL action continues LIVE next weekend at 1:30pm on Joy Sports and Adom TV on Multi-TV. ITALIAN SERIE A Round Up: Prior to their game against Palermo on Joy Sports and Adom TV on Multi-TV, AC Milan found themselves in an unusually low position in the log, having won just one of their first five games. AC Milan gave their season a much-needed lift with a convincing 3-0 victory at home to Palermo. Antonio Nocerino fired the Rossoneri in front shortly before the interval, with Robinho and Antonio Cassano putting the result beyond doubt in the second half. Milan came into the match with just five points from their opening five league matches, the worst start to a season by a defending champion in 21 years. Inter Milan's dismal start to the season continued as they were beaten 2-1 at Catania to remain just above the bottom three in Serie A.Just two weeks after going down 3-0 at home to Napoli, Claudio Ranieri's side lost again, despite taking a sixth-minute lead through Esteban Cambiasso. Sergio Almiron and a Francesco Lodi penalty turned the game around in the second half, as the Sicilians took a deserved three points to leave the Nerazzurri five points behind them in the table after six games of the season. Napoli missed the chance to move top as they fell to a shock 2-1 defeat at home to Parma.Massimo Gobbi put the visitors in front in the 57th minute, but Giuseppe Mascara equalised for the home team 15 minutes from time.Napoli then pushed for a winner, ending the game with five forwards on the field, but it was Parma who found the goal that was worth three points with Francesco Modesto netting in the 82nd minute. Miroslav Klose struck a stoppage-time winner as Lazio beat 10-man Roma 2-1 in the Eternal City derby. Chievo proved once again to be Juventus' bogey side as they held the Bianconeri to a goalless draw at the Stadio Bentegodi - one of five scoreless draws out of six games as only Bologna were to only side to muster a goal across the 12 teams in action from the afternoon fixtures. Udinese overcame the second-half dismissal of Giampiero Pinzi to extend their unbeaten run to six matches with a 0-0 draw at Atalanta. FRENCH LIGUE 1 ROUND UP Marseille's stuttering start to the season continued as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Toulouse at the Stade Municipal for their sixth draw of the campaign in the 5pm Ligue one kick-off on Joy Sports and Adom-TV on Multi-TV. Didier Deschamps' men created almost all the openings of note but left with just a point, and both sides ended the game with 10 men as Charles Kabore saw red for the visitors in the 58th minute and Etienne Capoue was dismissed for the hosts late on, both for second bookable offences. One positive note for Marseille was the return to action of former Toulouse striker Andre-Pierre Gignac as an 82nd-minute substitute following a month out with injury which has also included a spell at a weight-loss clinic. Lyon bounced back from their defeat to Paris St Germain before the international break with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Ligue 1's bottom side Nancy at Stade Gerland. Lyon face Real Madrid in Champions League action on Joy Sports and Adom TV on Champions Tuesday. Michel Bastos scored their first and third goals, with a free-kick and a penalty respectively, and Bafetimbi Gomis scored his seventh goal of the campaign as Les Gones hit all their goals in a five-minute burst between the 26th and 31st minutes. Lille came from behind to continue their unbeaten run with a 3-1 away win over Auxerre. Bordeaux suffered fresh disappointment as they crashed to a heavy 3-0 defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Nice. First-half goals from Eric Mouloungui and David Hellebuyck set the home side on their way and Francois Clerc added a third after the break to earn Nice only their second win of the campaign. Kevin Gameiro struck a hat-trick as Paris St Germain restored their three-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 with a 3-1 win at struggling Ajaccio. LIVE European league action returns at the weekend on Multi-TV. On Tuesday, Jose Mourinho will continue his Champions League quest against a familiar foe in the form of Lyon.
