Ghana midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso, is confident of more playing time with new Club Panathiniakos after sealing a three year contract with the Greek side.
The Former Rubin Kazan versatile midfielder trained with his new mates for the first time and though there have been concerns about how much playing time he will get.
But Wakaso is confident he is a key member of Coach Argyris Pedoulakis squad after initial discussions with him.
"It was the coach who approached me but not the club, he initially wanted me to join last season but I couldn’t join them," he told Joy Sports.
"I weighed up my options and I realized moving here was good for me since it was the coach who called me to join."
"He has assured me of match playing time so I am really looking forward to that.”
"He also told me he needs a player like me for the formation he wants to play. He had been watching me since my days in Espanyol."
